The day Renault scared the Paddock (again)

Basically nobody can say the same in the History of modern F1. Maybe Williams, Ferrari, Lotus or McLaren have done it sometimes, but what happened today was really incredible.

It is the same if the is loaded or not of fuel. God!... he almost got the pole position!!! just 90 thousend of a second, it is a huge improved, HUGE. And that improving is among all the teams. Tomorrow he can finish 5th or 6th, is the same because the incredible action is done, a car having problems even with Red Bull, with Toyota, even with the Force India of Fisichella (not just Piquet, even Fernando) now has been in the fight to get the pole position with the Ferrari of Raikkonen.

The victory of Renault is huge, they have jump to the other side, to be the followers to evolution the car more than the rest and of course have surprised everybody (EVEN ME). Today there was a panic atmosphere at the paddock. McLaren was a funeral; it is not the failure of the two McLaren drivers, but seen the jewel, the great diamond they had in their hand and they didnt respect and like, in that position has made a huge damage that could mean the begin of the end for this team. The sinking of the team as we know it right now. I imagine that Mercedes will take the total control in the next future.

But in the "scuderia" the face of not believing was clear even in the pro-Fernando section. I can tell you that in the whole day and till the end of the race of tomorrow, the whole paddock will keep talking about this subject, about Alonso and the Renault resurrection. The energy that has injected the result of today to the team, will make to renault to increase the selfestime and will change the way of working; now they will be able to improve the car during all the season to carry it to the top. That would never happened if Fernando Alonso wouldn't be in Renault. Last year Alonso was not there so they abandon the R27, without trying to improve it and to get information to use it with the R28- Havbing Fernando there, his strength and his indications, have carried them to a transformation as a team, to change into a predator chasing the target.

The F2008 is an airplane, but today has felt the breath in the back of the head. We are not talking about the Mp4/23 or the BMW, we are talking about the F2008 that today has a powerfull enemy, and powerfull because that enemy has turn into attack mode, and this enemy has won the "Scuderia" before. McLaren and BMW didn't win Ferrari yet since the Schumacher times was in the "Scuderia", even the McLaren of Hakinnen and Coulthard.

But, Renault knows how to beat Ferrari in a modern race. Renault won in front of Ferrari and McLaren in 2005 and won in front of Schumacher, Ferrari and the FIA in 2006.

And that nightmare for Ferrari has come back!! and this time there is a miracle, has change into a beast that chases the target.

There are a lot of people that today will not sleep relax. They can't believe it, the rather think taht it is a bad dream, because if this is confirmed, the relaxed season would change into a hard season.

Such a miracle in Renault!!!!! it is incredible. And all of this is because of Fernando giving the way of working, and all of them are feeling the same way of working like him, his fighting way and his desire of winning, just the oppositte they got in 2007.

Fernando is amazing inside and offside the track. McLaren cry about what you didnt know how much value has inside. And I cry and some other because there were no bravery to step forward that we waited for and taking him to the "Scuderia". I smile and I am happy as a Spaniard and as a Fernando supporter for seing him again up there where only the greatest deserve to be even in the worst situations. The legends always go up.

And Fernando Alonso is an alive Legend. Not even the english and german press can hide it anymore what Fernando Alonso is: The king of the F1 in nowdays!!

Tomorrow some drivers will see during the race, somthing the would never imagine during this season, the back wing of the Renault and the 2 ACES in the back of the helmet of Fernando ALonso.

I appreciate your efforts to try to provide information in English. Having said that, please consider having a native english speaker review your articles before you post them. Literal translation from spanish does not work, so far they don't seem to measure up.

Sorry if you dont like my English. Despite of your opinion I have many friends, English native speakers, telling me that the articles are perfectly understandable.

Overall, those translations are opinions from members of this forum so I CAN'T get out of the point and I MUST be as literal as possible to their writings
